We replaced traditional lower buckles that impair circulation to the foot with our Dynamic Radial Closure (DRC) technology, wrapping aircraft cables 360 degrees around your forefoot. Our automatic tensioning cable system pulls the shell closer to the foot for more sensitive skiing.
But our precision fit is only half the story, comfort is the rest. As you push forward on the tongue of your Zay all mountain ski boot, the automatic tensioning cable system evenly distributes pressure, applying firm tension around your foot without pinch points. DRC also prevents lower boot distortion or “ski boot bulge” and heel lift while keeping the foot secure.
